At Vitals Global Healthcare we strive to improve the well-being of the communities we serve by transforming healthcare delivery through Private Public Partnerships. As a result of these agreements, we assume responsibility for hospital management, while also investing in the human resources and infrastructure that will achieve an internationally-recognized status in both our processes and facilities. We believe that, through key partnerships with world-leading organizations such Partners HealthCare International, and Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, we can streamline existing hospital operations to provide high level, reliable, cost-effective and accessible healthcare to patients from across the globe.

Our vision for the future of healthcare can be captioned within our mission statement: We deliver comprehensive, high-quality services to local and international communities with excellence, compassion and competence. We do this by leading through innovation and evidence-based medicine. Our values have one thing in common: the excellent quality of our patient care. Our values highlight that we are bold, challenge the status quo and continually improve the way we work and deliver care. We act respectfully, are inclusive, work collaboratively and put our patients in the center of our efforts.

VGH currently manages three hospitals in Malta, where it is also investing in a new hospital, a new Medical School, and in substantial upgrades to existing facilities and systems including Information Technology and Electronic Health Record systems.
Once complete, the VGH St Luke’s Hospital will have 325 beds with state-of-the-art surgery rooms and modern lab facilities, a new Nursing University, as well as a dedicated dermatology center and holistic healthcare centers.
The VGH Karin Grech Hospital will have 320 beds, and will offer acute long-term care. This facility will include recreational rooms, dining rooms, entertainment rooms and fully-equipped physical therapy rooms. Increased and enhanced green space will also be incorporated, paving the way for new walking lanes and gardens where our patients can relax and recover. The dedicated Rehabilitation and Wellness Center will have a further 150 beds providing post-operation rehabilitation, and will boast 2,500 square meters of space for physical therapy, including a full-size hydrotherapy pool. At the VGH Gozo General Hospital, a brand new 250-bed facility is being constructed right beside the existing building, which, in turn, is being transformed into a 200-bed Acute Geriatric Care and Rehabilitation Centre. In total, our facilities in Gozo will now include 150 Acute beds and 200 Acute Geriatric beds.
